Meet Your Dog Groomer

Meet Kait

Hi, I’m Kait — the groomer and owner behind Wesley’s Wag and Wash Pet Spa.

With over 11 years of grooming experience, including 6 years in a low-stress veterinary clinic setting, my approach has always been rooted in patience, safety, and trust. Every dog is different, and I believe grooming should be tailored to the individual — never rushed and never one-size-fits-all.

I specialize in one-on-one, low-stress grooming designed to support both comfort and confidence. Whether a pup is young, senior, sensitive, or simply needs a little extra time, I work at their pace to create a calm, positive experience from start to finish.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is earning the trust of dogs who may be nervous or unsure at first. Watching that trust grow over time — and building lasting relationships with both pets and their families — is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

My Grooming Philosophy

Grooming is about more than appearance — it’s about how a dog feels while they’re in my care. I prioritize calm handling, clear communication, and compassionate, individualized attention so every visit feels safe and supportive.

Outside the salon, life still revolves around dogs and the outdoors — a constant reminder of why this work means so much to me.

The Heart Behind Wesley’s

Wesley’s Wag and Wash was named after the first dog I ever got to call my own — my corgi, Wesley. He stood by my side through every major chapter of my adult life, and losing him this past February made opening this space even more meaningful. Naming the salon after him felt like the right way to carry his love, patience, and spirit into this next chapter.

My goal is simple: for every dog to leave feeling comfortable, cared for, and genuinely at ease — and for you to feel complete confidence in the care they received.
